Debian m68k Linux installation
« on: July 16, 2004, 02:17:31 PM »
Hi,

I'm trying to install the last Debian Linux m68k distribution.

I own a A500 + GVP A530 with a true 68030 (i replaced the old one) + 8 Mo of Fast.

I retrieved the last amigainstall.lha archive.

I launch the "StartInstall" iconX program : all the messages are ok, the program seems to install the Linux kernal in RAM, but at the end, i have a white-grey freezed screen and my A500 refuses to boot on Linux.

Can you help me ??
Thanks for your answers.
LC

perhaps you try to run the kernel that needs an 6888x copro. iirc there´s a version availible which doesn´t need one.
