Just found the .org
« on: July 09, 2004, 04:01:38 AM »
Just found this site while searching for a place to sell my Amigas. I love'em but need the lesser boxes for editing.
I don't really like ebay, so if anyone knows of a marketplace I can list my stuff i would like to hear from you.
I started out with the A1000 and worked my way up to a 4000/Toaster. Did some good work with all of them, but had to finally open the windows.
I still have some software I would like to use. Just to lazy and cheap to get an emulator.
Have a good week end
Dave

Hi Dave,

Welcome aboard.  There are a couple of places to sell your Amigas, but I regret to say the other site's name escapes me at the moment.  As I recall, the other site was UK based, so I don't know how that would work for ya.

We at one time had classified advertisements here on Amiga.org, but due to a software glitch, that functionality needed to be removed.  You're welcome to put a notice in the "Amigas on eBay forum" as long as you're not a professional dealer.  If that were the case, we'd rather you take out an advertisement.  :)

In any event, welcome.  If we can be of service, I am your host, Wayne.  There are several others here, whom you will notice with a "Moderator" tag next to their name who will also be more than willing to help.

Wayne

You might want to try AmiBench.

but with most places, i'd recommend you to go through you CC company to make sure you have some kind of protection. some people recently had some bad experiences with amibench, but most of the time it's a pretty cool place

oh yeah, hi  :-D
