I can't get any of these to work:

Worms
Banshee
Shadow Fighter
Guardian

I get a black screen and a crash so bad
I can't even reboot the Pc.

Hmm.  Yes.  Well, I would love to get AF6.0 to play the PAL games I have, as I have an NTSC CD32 system.  In particular, I have Cannon Fodder with a nice printed instruction book and everything, and I can't really play it because it doesn't fit on the screen!  :-(  To be sure, I have not yet tried on E-UAE.

I devised a plan to hook the S-video into a capture card on a Linux box that's hooked to the TV, and play it that way, as the card and software can handle PAL just fine.  Unfortunately for me though I don't have an Amiga mouse so I can't change screen modes.  The setup does work nicely with NTSC though, so I'm hopeful.

I hadn't thought of this before...

How does a CD32 out of the box access the early-startup menu!?

Is there no way to hold down a certain joypad combination to get
there? I know left and right mouse buttons is the method, maybe if
such a way doesn't exist for CD32 then a toggle could be retro-fitted
to the joypad!

That's a project for someone!

Why would the CD32 need access to the early-startup menu?
Any CD32 software will already be compatible and will not
need settings changed in the menu.  The SX expansion
(I don't remember the proper name) adds keyboard and
mouse functionality.

@Hyperspeed

You can get to the early startup by holding buttons (red and blue if I remember) on a gamepad plugged into joy 2.  But, once you're there you need a keyboard to switch modes.  :(

@Billchase

To switch screenmodes mostly.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(
