If the composite output of the Amiga is correctly connected to the composite input of your TV card, and the *CORRECT* input is selected in SuperTV (or Elbox TV), you should get a black or grey screen, because even when using P96 modes, AGA is outputting a normal 15Khz signal that the TV card should detect.

If you are getting a blue screen, the TV card is not detecting any signal from the AGA output. Double check your connections, and that the TV software has the correct input selected.

You need to plug something in to get a picture :-)

You are definately connecting the composite output of the Amiga to the composite input of the TV card, and not accidentally connecting the RF output?

I get a blue screen on my TV card when there is no signal at the composite input.

Still, as my tv card is in my windohs box, blue screens are just a fact of life

You could always try another lead. The shorter the better. If you're still not happy with the results, you'll have to somehow get an SVHS output from your A1200.

I know of 2 ways to do this, one is to convert an old A520 modulator, the other is to make a custom interface. Both methods require soldering, i'm afraid.

The (expensive) alternative is to get a scandoubler/flickerfixer and monitor switch.
