The listing it removed now. it is strange, people find it funny to hack websites and do something like this, they could maybe use there "talent" to something else.

I'm quite sure fun is not what they seek.
They mainly seek money.

Hi
Yes they are after money sometimes. But if the Amiga got sold, there would never be a transaction, and if there were, the seller will get the money. How can they get money from doing this.

If they've gotten this far, surely they would know how to change the payment information inside the original seller's profile, wouldn't they?

They want you to contact them direct, my guess is you'd pay them through some way that couldn't be reversed. While most sane people wouldn't do the latter, they filter out those by making it look dodgy. They only need one gullible person.

When they ask for your bank routing number JUST SAY NO.

When they ask for your credit card info JUST SAY NO.

When they ask you to cash a check for them JUST SAY NO.

When they ask you to meet them at the corner of Main and Broadway to pick up your merchandise.  Be sure to take someone with you.  When a dodgy guy shows up and you ask him why he is an hour late and he says "Well I saw you but I didn't think it was you.  You were supposed to be alone but you brought your girlfriend and that threw me off.  Gimme the $200.00 and I will go get your merchandise.  Its 2 blocks away at Angelo's house."  JUST SAY NO.

I actually had that happen to me!  An idiot actually thought I would fall for that.  O   M   G

I keep reporting this and it keeps popping up in further listings.

Considering that I keep my Ebay listings on the up and up, this pisses me off.

I wonder by time eBay gets it's finger out, how many people these fraudsters each time will have reeled in.

Listings like that just get in the way of people like me who are still searching to buy one.

The really evil thing about this is the hacking into eBay seller accounts. The pattern keeps repeating with the A4000T and other items that sold for nice prices being put into another seller's account every few days or so with buy it now via a gmail account. The last one was a seller who sold cosmetics and the only listing that fit into the sellers line was a vintage Barbie doll--A4000s aren't the only things that can bring good money on eBay. This has been going on for a while. A criminal complaint could be filed and signed by Google as well as eBay since Googles service's are being misused by the fraudsters.
A2500 owned since 1993 with A2630/DKB 2632, DKB Megachip, GVP EGS Spectrum, A2320 and GVP HC+8 on the inside and a DCTV on the outside. A4000D with CSPPC, Cybervision 64 and a Flicker Magic flicker fixer. A4000T Toaster Flyer & CSMKII. All systems completly retro and classic and mostly used to do geometic art as in my avatar.
