By all means list it, but don't expect the serial number to be a major selling point, especially in that condition.

"especially in that condition" ?

It's in great condition, if the two keys were not missing it'd be one of the nicest 1000's to ever hit eBay.  :-o

But, if I were buying a 1000, I'd prefer a complete keyboard too, so I see your point.
If I have military spec stuff listed on eBay, you can find it here  :-)

Its down to $20 now. Surely there must have been plenty of offers at 70k.  :-P

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound harsh :-) Just meant that people who were attracted to the (moderately) low serial number would be put off, as you say, by the lack of a couple of keys.

Well, $20 seems in the realm of realistic, they musta changed it. For the curious among us, what was the price that it started with that was so phenomenal??

And for the guy missing a couple keys, I've got an old mangled keyboard someplace, with a number of missing keys. If the ones you need are among the still present ones you can have them, which are they? Though it will take a while tio dig it out from its tomb, and may still be at my parent's house and not here at mine, but I'll find it eventually if you're interested.

I sure would! They're the F2 key and the 9 key (for an Amiga 1000 keyboard).  Appreciate the effort if you decide to try and find them.  :-D
