Dont worry just send your board to DCE for replacement of the battery......... Then worry :-)



No seriously, judging from your pictures it doesn't look like battery acid. I think the acid usually looks more powdered/dusty.

Anyway if it is easy to get off remove it and change your battery, just to be 100% certain no damage will happen to your board.

It looks to me like it came like that.

I believe that would be caused by getting the solder very hot.

I don't think it's a problem.

That's a nice camera by the way.

Hmm...so I got wound up cos of nothing... =).

The pics were made with a Nikon Coolpix 885. I think it's a 3 megapixel cam. But apperently Nikon doesn't offer the interfacing software for download =).
