I think there are so many interesting things going on for 2009 that it’s hard to pick something special. Interesting with the Kryptos on Morph. If I understand right so was it also possible to run truecrypt files on it. I have been using this very useful software (truecrypt) for years and I take it as an omen that programs like these have reached the Amiga world. Lucky Morph users that can keep their files in a safe.
One prediction slash hope, have already come true on Aros. Right after New Year the wmvAros 1.01 was out WITH MPLAYER, (OH MY GOD!!!!) playing most media formats. Aros start 2009 with fresh transwarp coils. Things just fall into place.
Minimig seem to have hardfile support making it even more appealing. Gunnar is back on the Natami. Amikit can perhaps possibly be installed on the machine when it’s ready to hatch.
All that is missing is an A1200 like minimig with hard file support, and then the worry for osteoporosis on my old darling could be put to rest. When she kicks the bucket one can only buy a CloneA? and fit it into the casing and she will be immortal.
The prediction for this year is that one will probably be surprised and amazed, and not in a terrible way.
The world of Amiga is evolving, enduring and prospering thanks to people that choose to do things, not because they were easy, but because they were hard, and fun to do.
