This is not really a question, more of an observation. And, frankly, there could be other factors involved, such as reseating the Picasso IV and X-Surf 3cc cards which had to be done during the process.
In any case, I have noticed that my A4000D has run much more stably and experienced fewer crash-related reboots since I installed the 16MB of RAM on the motherboard.
I leave my 4000D running under OS3.9 with at least Miami, Garshneblanker, and whatever the blanker which shuts the monitor off is called (DPMI Blank?) and WBClock. Sometimes I leave applications like WeatherExperience or AmIRC running as well. I will see a reboot something like every four to five days. Since putting the 16MB on the mobo, I have enjoyed as much as eight days without a crash.
