New-in-box Amiga 4000 on eBay

In all fairness, when I ordered my A4000, I paid more to get the RAM maxed out, and when it was delivered to me, it was taped up just like this one is, original Commodore tape cut, and resealed! On the inside, however everything (short of the warenty seal) was perfect and beautiful!

True, but you can tell this has been done much more recently.  The Commodore tape yellowed with age, but the other tape is very clear, new and shiny.

And after I posted that, I re-read the description in the auction, and they say the box has been opened to inspect contents...  Yet they show no pictures of the contents.  Why would you open a box to inspect it, and then not show what you found?

It doesn't say the box is unopened. It says

The box has wear from shipping as can be seen in the photo below and has been opened for inspection of contents only.

Where did you guys get that it was unopened?
