I sold my A4000D for £200 and it was upgraded with the latest Buster etc.

I sold my A4000D for $0.00
I sold my A500 for $0.00
I traded my A1000 for a fax machine

I am really surprised at how many ppl demand absolute top dollar for their ancient Amiga hardware that they aren't using.

It didn't use to matter to me what ppl sold their old Amigas for.

But ever since I became in the market for an Amiga to replace my trusty A1200 which is acting all flakey and lost 1 side of its audio channels, I can't find any replacement and if I did it would cost like $4000.00 for a machine I only paid $1000.00 for in 1999/2000.
Wanna try a wonderfull strategy game with lots of handdrawn anims,
Magic Spells and Monsters, Incredible playability and lastability,
English speech, etc. Total Chaos AGA

Things worth what others are willing to pay for. So if you think it's worth nothing, it worths nothing, if you think it's a priceless rare item that you desire, then you are willing to pay a lot. So asking how much is worth is a subjective thing. You come here just to say you have a top of the line amiga machine, that  is wortheless from normal users point of view wich are willing to play old games, but from a collectors point of view it might be a piece of history and an awesome thing to have. Pointless topic .

I swapped out my Picasso IV for a Mediator + Radeon 9200 in my main A4T; it is faster and with the Indy AGA MKII, I get DVI-D on my 32" monitor.  The switch is a tiny pain, but sits right next to my keyboard.

Mine is a Toaster Flyer system and the Picasso IV with the internal scan doubler is know to work the video toaster output. No room right now for anything else with the Toaster, Flyer, DPS TBC IV, Vectorcsope, YCP-100 and flyer drives. Basically a nice museum piece of 90s video editing. If I get some time to play with it some more, I will have some fun with it. I can do  edits all in digital on my laptop but the Toaster Flyer has great effects and wipes and it is really easy to put things together.
A2500 owned since 1993 with A2630/DKB 2632, DKB Megachip, GVP EGS Spectrum, A2320 and GVP HC+8 on the inside and a DCTV on the outside. A4000D with CSPPC, Cybervision 64 and a Flicker Magic flicker fixer. A4000T Toaster Flyer & CSMKII. All systems completly retro and classic and mostly used to do geometic art as in my avatar.

Well look at this.  Two A4000D's sold on Ebay today.  One for $643.27 + $70.09 shipping after 32 bids, sold as is, seller couldn't get display to come up (sounds like they didn't try very hard).

http://www.ebay.com/itm/140998630804

And one for $455 + $100.72 shipping after 23 bids, case covered in rust and corrosion.

Yup, plenty of people still willing to pay top-dollar, even for lower-grade devices.  Just hope these went to people who will fix them up and use them rather than someone who already has 10 of them in their "museum", LOL!  ;)

The one that went for $643 had a Cybervision 64 and a scsi connector on the expansion port that could mean an accelerator with SCSI. The terminator is 50 pin SCSI II so probably not a Cyberstorm MKIII or PPC. Or, it could be a Dataflyer internal SCSI board. For that much money, a real gamble.  The one with the corrosion was stock. Looks like it was exposed to moisture in storage so it probably doesn't smell too good and needs a lot of serious cleaning.

Yes! I cant believe people would buy this at the mentioned prices. You can get tested and working ones for that money...

I think it had a cs mki or mkii in it...funny he showed a lot pictures but NONE of the cpu board... could be a bad surprise for the one who paid for it

EBay now list German auctions if one enables the "ships to" your location; there is at least one seller trying to sell stock A4000Ds without keyboard in the $600 to $700 USD range.  AmiBay has a couple of sellers trying the same thing in €'s and £`s -- this is the site touted as the "most fair."

I expect that there may be some A4000D's out there that have been refurbed with fully clean, Retr0brited plastics, new caps, and nice extras soon to hit the sale forums.

Like mine? Although it is still white and pristine without retrobright. And still has the key :)
