An 030 at 25 mhz will probably run Doom but not very fast. The ACA accelerators have pretty fast RAM, which undoubtedly helps some.

Hi i want to ask are there any different in speed between a new and old accelerator. Lets say an 3630 cpu from the 90`s and a new cpu made in the last couple of years, also with a 030 cpu and the same Mhz and with the same ram. Are the newer cpu faster or is it the same? just something i have been thinking about

The CPU's are no different but the memory (RAM) used in modern accelerators such as the ACA range is much faster resulting in faster processing.
