Please dont use the words Civ2 and Call to Power in the same sentance. :-P

The only game purchase that made me physically sick. I am still going to therapy to get over it. Alpha Centauri was a far better game, even though it felt like Sid Mier made it so him and his mates could play it.
yes Call to Power is open source, but I cant see why people would jump on to developing a game from scratch when there are developers out there already working on similar projects in need of help.
I just wish I could do something useful to help.

realms of power might be nice game, but...

Call to power is made by professionals, it's good game, porting it to amiga might be quite fast job.

Is anyone look at those sources?

Last 5 years there have been about 5 good original amiga games, rest them in peace ;-)

Unoccupied people in FreeCiv can be a performer, taxman or (I can't remember the third character) like in Civ3 so FreeCiv is already better than Civ2.

Huh? This was possible in Civ1 already. In features Freeciv can match with Civ2 but in game play (against AI) Civ2 is much more interesting.

Civ2 is single player game, Freeciv is multiplayer game. IMO  :-)

All this talk about CIV when infact people should be thinking of a Colonization clone instead ;) a much better game imho.
