Yes, I used WinUAE with JIT on my old AMD K7-700 and 256M RAM and it's (sometimes) very fast.  But, the benchmarks are misleading.  On some tests, the speeds show 060 speeds.  But, in normal use it's much slower.  Try running benchmarks other than SYSSPEED and you'll see the difference.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

No way can a P266 deliver 060 performance. Nor can a P100 deliver 040 performance. There's overhead involved in the emulation, not to mention the OS, etc. I'd say the P266 could emulate a fast 020 and the P100 could do a nice 68k but not faster

I'd agree. My P200 can't even emulate an A500 properly, at least not with sound.

I have not long bought a 366 pentium 2 dell laptop off of ebay for a 110 pound using buy it now full working order but no battery. I paid 10 pence for 5 untested / worn out baterys plus 8 pound for the postage going to see how much the battery shop near me charges to rebuild one if they can do it for less than 54 pound i might get 1 or 2 repaired or might rebuild one with new cells myself going to replace cd rom with a dvd drive and run linux and aros and  beos  plus qnx if i can .

I have an old 133 texas instruments laptop with a near new battery i need to sell it has no cdrom drive but battery last for 2 hours on full charge. :-)
I once had an amigaone xe but sold it .

Have you tried installing AROS on any of them yet?

Well, I had had AROS runing great (unbelieveably fast) on an old P75... so I guess these laptops will be great for it.

Red, make sure that the graphics chips support Vesa2.0

Here's the first one tested and listed.
HERE

Looks like the vast majority of them will be parts only machines, but this one is good working.

The battery seems to work fine. It took a charge and i left it on and running on battery power for quite a while with what appeared to be normal usage.

The picture shows the laptop running on battery power.
