I was thinking about Scandinavians, not just Swedes.
We swedes have given you the safety match, the dynamite, the adjustable spanner, the milk separator, meatballs, etc. :-D
Don't forget Volvos and Saabs!
Perhaps who ever designed the more recent Volvos (1980s and onwards) wanted somewhere to put their matches... ;-)
