That's not true, €111,11 was the introduction price, see the Morphos 2.0 announcement:
Then with the 2nd anniversary of Morphos 2.x the price was dropped to €111, and with the Morphos 3.0 release the drop became permanent.
I'm sure that 11 cents was a deal breaker for millions.
