Here's a simple link that's easy to read for numpties who can't get their history correct... :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Bannockburn

Even you can't change history, Longshanks was a LOSER, we gubbed him good and proper then years later the so called Scottish Nobility sold us down the river and we became the United Kingdom... :(

BUT... that doesn't mean I or others like me have to accept that (and never will) it's one of the reasons why I can't leave this country and travel the world as I refuse to have a passport the says Great Britain or the United Kingdom on it... ;)

I'll never class myself as British or being part of the UK, I'm Scottish & damn proud of it no matter what some poxy document signed hundreds of years ago by shitebags & traitors says... ;)

So you can stuff the English royal family where the sun don't shine and ship em all off to OZ with all the other outcasts... :)

End Of Rant... :D

@ Kesa

It's generally quite pointless arguing with someone who doesn't know the history of which they speak, it's even more pointless arguing with someone who claims to be English but doesn't even the courage to live in the country that they claim to be a native of and instead has chosen to bail out and infest some other poor sods country... ;)

So with that being said I'll just sit here smug & cosy in the knowledge that being Scottish is the best thing in the world and leave arguments of this kind to to have with real Englishmen who still live in their own homeland and whom I at least respect in that sense for having the courage of their convictions in staying and not bailing out for an easy life in sun cos they couldn't handle the hardships of living here... ;)

Until you move back to England and stay there then I refuse to argue with you about such trivial (but important) matters and so you'll just have to come up with a subject that you're at least qualified to argue on... :p

PS:How did the exams go, do you think you passed... :)

@ Gertsy

Nah... It's just one of those rare times when I can't be bothered with computers & stuff, usually happens when I've just finished something and in this case it was Retrobrighting all those old VIC 20s and C64s... :)

Kinda bored meself with them so for today at least it's feet up and watch some documentaries and probably a marathon session of all 3 boxed sets of Lord Of The Rings (again) and maybe even the complete box set of every episode of Blakes 7 if I still can't be bothered with anything... ;)

Wonder how my main miggy will cope todays the first time I've actually switched it off since around November of last year, just hope she powers up again...

We'll I only popped in the kitchen to have a quick fag so now it's time for the mac to get switched off too and get back to the telly... :)
