I have a 1084DS (don't remember if its D1 or D2).

D is the model number perhaps because its the 4th generation 1084 monitor?

Shame the speakers went on mine, everyone else I know who got the same model have normally working speakers. :-( LOL!

LOL.. I have a terrible memory. And you are correct.. it is indeed a Daewoo CRT! :-D
