Why not just buy this AmigaONE amiga.org post ?

By the way, what CD-ROM software is bundled with the AmigaONE, for those who got it. Is Amiga Forever or any UAEamiga emulator included? What operating system is included (obviously Linux, but what distro?) ?

I will send thousands of mail to push you forward!

DO NOT DO THAT!

Mail bombing someone's email box is rude and unthoughtful.

Do you think that they would actually WANT to sell you a board after all that? I guess if they needed another sale..

However, you would be considered a nuisance, not a genuine customer.

Eyetech allready said that they can't send more then 40 to 50 a day because they are testing them again in England

Testing in Taiwan, then again in England?  There's a need to test them TWICE????????

Have you ever seen what shipment can do to a piece of hardware?

Heh Rogue, I work in a grocery store... You should see the amount of damages we get in the products shipped to us, its crazy! :-D

Genesi have delivered a disappointing, half baked product. But Eyetech has come up with the goods, and if Hyperion follow suite, I won't mind waiting for months or paying relativly high prices for my machine. At the end of the day, what counts is having a powerfull, brand new Amiga Computer on my desk!!

LOL! Are you serious here or joking?

I'm watching the IBM PPC970 closely to see how this plays out.

Did you read the reviews guys? Did you notice the complaints? I haven't endured the pain of using sMurfOS, true, but shouldn't you two shut up until the OS you're trumpeting about works correctly? When the peg. and sMurfOS deliver the goods, I'll consider investing in one, and you two can post happily praising the virtues of sMorfOS, but at the moment, there isn't really anything to get excited about.

You shouldn't never knock down other systems, more so when the one you're defending is choke full of bugs, unstable, runs only a handfull of titles and barely works.

Could you please quote me where I, Darth_X, knock either the Pegasos or Teron/AmigaOne boards? Am I NOT allowed to post critism towards either/or/any product?

And furthermore, DO NOT make up things about me. I have never said AmigaOS4 is "full of bugs, unstable, runs only a handfull of titles and barely works."

NEVER SAID THAT!!!!!!  ;-)

And how could I? I have never sat down and tried AmigaOS4, I haven't fired up an amiga in a long time either.

In 2 days, I will be however sitting down and trying a Pegasos with MorphOS for the first time. It should be interesting and I'll post my results here! :-D

As a I'm from the audio/music point of view, I was *initially* disappointed to see that the only audio support provided was basically AHI.. and this is for both systems. (AHI is not so bad after reading up a bit on it)

However, I see this as a great opportunity for myself and others to build a new audio system for this market from scratch!

But finding people with the audio/MIDI/Music background in this market now is incredibly difficult.

Something to consider: if the CEO of a large Pro Audio company were to check this site out, I honestly think they would NOT want to support this market. Too many crazy/psychotic people here..

What do you think?

I think we need to change things around here, and focus on building this market up.

In other words, if we WANT it.. we need to BUILD it!
