does your Amiga actually generate some profit or significant income for you?

Yes. My Amiga generated profit (I currently do not own one), my current Pegasos 2 generates profit too, I hope my newest computer - an Efika, will generate some profit as well.

How does it do that?

For Amiga it was mainly design of peripherials (Prometheus namely). For Pegasos it was programming (MorphOS Team) and now scientific research.
