Monitors are sure getting cheap. I remember about 2 or so years ago paying over AUD$1000 for a Philips 19" monitor. Similar speced Philips monitor costs about AUD$500 - $600 now. LCD are going pretty cheap aswell. I saw a Hercules Prophetview 720 (I thinks), 15" LCD and great for 3D games, for only AUD$550, new. I was tempted to buy it, but I needed the money to build a new setup for myself
I read somewhere, that the growth of LCD's is overtaking CRT's here in Australia, in terms of %growth from the previous year.
