Why doesn't someone swoop in and grab the trademark?
« on: March 29, 2010, 12:42:33 PM »
Amiga Inc appear dead, dead, dead. History has shown us McBill likely only licensed the name and trademark from Gateway. Why doesn't someone (company) approach Gateway for a license now that Amiga Inc are (apparently) completely insolvent and dead as a door nail?

Interesting and very possible. It becomes muddier when companies like Individual Computers request proof of ownership of and McBill was unable to produce proof. If nothing else, the trademark has not been used or defended in a long time. For the last renewal, a photo of a 20 year old 1200 baud modem was used.
