Interesting story about Maurice Randall. You still in contact with him? Any insight on why CMDRKEY turned out the way it did?

I bought GEOS and a few utilities from Maurice a few years ago (5?) and ordered a hard drive for the 64. Got the software and never heard anymore about the hard drive.

I just looked at CMDRKEY.com and Maurice posted a message in November about a new direction. He also mentions cbmfiles.com where he has posted the GEOS system and the complete GENIE Commodore 8-bit libraries.

Hope Maurice is doing well. I'm wondering what new direction he has in mind. I still might like a hard drive....

You weren't charged for the CMD hard drive were you? AFAIK Maurice no longer has a license for CMD products. I have no inside information, just an educated guess since based on what I have heard in the 8bit community. Brain Innovations is now the legal distributor of JiffyDOS.

BTW, the uIEC is the cat's meow if used with JiffyDOS!
