I only have a 060/60 and it's damn slow, it's like watching a slideshow.
On an unasisted 060/60 yes it would be slow. However on my 060/66 with Delfina(hardware assisted) it was quite good. Let's keep things in perspective. Any 60-66Mhz computer is underpowered. Yes there were some bug to be squashed, and yes optimisations could be done, but it seems to be the most actively supported player out there.
I would prefer a Moovid version with the new os, not a slow and unoptimized program like Frogger.
Moovid is a good program, but it is very limited in support.
If you don't have a ppc or x86 Frogger has no use (except slideshows)
Wrong. Even on 060 with DSP(Delfina), Frogger is quite usable.
Ummm and BTW riva is also a lot faster than frogger.
Riva is VERY VERY fast, but sound support is terrible, features is nonexistant and I seriously doubt there will ever be an update.
The author should stop adding new formats and start to optimize, because it's a dead slow program.
I wouldn't say it so curt, but I agree. Frogger is an excelent product with tons of good features but it could use some optimisation.
