Amiga stuff thrown in the dumpster :-(

A couple boxes worth of Amiga stuff, unsellable on eBay, just hit the dumpster :-( Most of it was listed multiple times on eBay with low (see $0.01) starting bids, honest shipping and no reserves. No takers. After losing money and time on the postings, I've come to throw it. It's a shame, but we're relocating and this stuff just has no home.

It's a crying shame when you can't give Amiga stuff away any longer :-(

I had posted links to the $0.01 auctions IIRC. I didn't post an all one shot freebie this time though. I have done that in the past, but I didn't hink of it until tonight, and I rwally don't have the timeframe ATM. Must be moved in a few days...

Guys, nothing of tremdous value was thrown away. I essentially tried to give the stuff away at shiping. You really think I would have made a profit if it sold on eBay for $0.01? No it would have been a loss, and it still didn't sell,thus I made a loss on listing fees already.

The stuff was mostly software, with little hardware pieces. Used complete Word Perfect, some new boxed games, some used boxed utils(Art dept pro, OS2.0), a handy scanner etc etc. It was a couple boxes of retro stuff. No PPC cards, no Walker, no A3000+ etc.

I do hate to throw anything, I love the old Amiga. But times come when if you can't give it away, you must dump :-(

Oh yeah BTW, donating to Goodwill or Starvation Army? Pfft puhlease!! Come on guys, focus!! :idea: They absolutely refuse to take any computer equipment older than 2 years, let alone ancient 80's tech.
