OpenGL on Amiga Forever/WinUAE, what games?
« on: February 05, 2005, 03:12:24 PM »
Maybe you guys can save me some legwork. I know AmigaForever/WinUAE has built in OpenGL support, but I havn't tried it out yet. Is it automatic or does it require additional software(like miniGL)? I seem to remember there being an option in the WinUAE requestor to select for OpenGL, but I don't see it in the newer version of WinAUE.

On top of that, what games support it? I'm thinking GLQuake, but I can't think of any others :-?

Thanks, i found it on another website.. I have it installed now, but Warptest
is a mess... I must have some poor settings in WinUAE.

Suggestions?

-Edit-

I don't need a full Warp3D installation, do I? The installation
indtructions really doesn't specify.

Bahumbug, still picky. I have Quarktex.alib in the winuae_dll folder
that I just created. Warptest gives me an image but it's a mess.
The other Warp3d demos aren't working. At the moment I have
020+FPU selected for CPU, I wonder if this is the problem. Maybe
needs 040?

Umm, wow.. Ok so Warp3D demos do not work.. But Payback sure does!

*WOW*

In 16bit Warp3D mode, 640x480 & rotating view it's far too fast to
be playable! Now to try a higher resolution..

-Edit-
Oh boy..
16bit Warp3D 1280x1024 w/rotating view and shading is still far
far too fast to be playable..

Anyone know how to slow down Payback:-?

@Trooper

It's not doing it anymore, I think it was a fluke. Plays much faster than it ever did on my CS-PPC
Voodoo 3 ever did. Sound isn't perfect thouugh, the only drawback.
