I started programming music for the first time on the c64's sid chip. Later I got an amiga 1000 second hand when everyone else was buying an amiga 500, and it changed me in so many ways. I learned sampling and "tracking" on the amiga with protracker, and later moved on to an amiga 500, then 2000, then to fast tracker on pc. I made some full length albums, using fast tracker as base tracks but adding guitar and vocals and real drums at times in my home studio...
Anyhow, just figured if someone can get a free next gen amiga system for making some wallpapers, someone might think it a good idea to donate a machine sitting unused in their garage or basement to someone who will actually produce some cool audio art with it...
I will be thanking anyone who helps or donates on my new album, website, and music videos.
best regards,
Steven
I assume you are referring to DJ Nick bounty. Well idea was to get user back to AmigaOS 4.1 with NG system (as 4.0 Classic I purchased him worked badly on his 603) which he would compensate by graphics and themes and website designs.
http://www.amigabounty.net/?function=viewproject&projectid=90Deadline was not for many reasons, including that DJ Nick is self employed gfx / music artist and also a fresh dad.
But its ongoing saga, and Amiga Bounty and people that have donated have agreed its earned.

If you wish you could try setting the same kind of bounty, but with people having similar attitude like yours to DJ Nick, I doubt it will succeed.
There are loaner SAM 440 boards if you decide to do some real programming.
Ahh, you want a Classic Amiga and real C64 ...? Huh ... hope someone has a spare working one, I don`t.
Not that your music talent sounds bad :-)
