An old 4GB harddisk once woke me in the middle of the night with horrible noise. I lost some old photos but nothing too important.
I opened the cover of the harddisk, put the drive back to the computer, powered it on and watched the heads moving back and forth. I helped it a bit with a screwdriver and some permanent markers BWHAHAhahahah :-D :-D
