Facing the same situation myself... I may not be able to afford a A1 unless I sold just about every computer thing I own... Right now I have enough to sell that I could get an Amiga 4000/040 or better and then try and get a Cyberstorm PPC for 400-500 later when OS4 comes out. It seems like the most realistic for me, but I'm not sure if a 200-266MHZ PPC will run OS4 ok or not. And Amiga Forever will do as good as the 040 if not better. So I'm really still unsure myself...
