Twist 2 was by far the best middle ground for Amiga databases. I used to program in Superbase 4, which is more capable. Final Data was less feature rich and not quite as easy to deploy.
Twist 2 is real easy to deploy and create a database from scratch with an automatic GUI, yet it had more complex relational and reporting capabilities. Uses datatypes very well, so I created an module inventory for fun and snapped off jpg's. Took 30 minutes and it was fairly sophisticated.
There was an update on Aminet to bring it to the final release.
