Your skills in proper spelling too, apparently. I am of course not an English native, but I strongly suspect you meant to write deteriorated  :-P .

I do a lot of math on paper, as well as program design and rough graphical sketches---although those have been superseded by my Wacom Intuos 3. (A cool but expensive toy.) The most handwriting I do in my lab journal, and that keeps them skills fresh and active. I have never suffered from a bad or ugly hand, though; my writings are unusually IOTTMCO.
Some people say that cats are sneaky, evil and cruel. True, and they have many other fine qualities as well.

And trying to lure the poor and frightened Loch Ness monster back to the loch... I do not doubt there will be a clause added very soon to its contract with the local tourism industry that it shall not ever, under any circumstances, be made to act like a rubber ducky again.
