You don't need to install the BTo software.

If you're on BT anytime, the dial-up networking number is:

0808 9933001

If you're on payg:

0845 7560000

You set up your dial-up networking connection, and the Internet software you want, and hey presto.  No yucky branded browser crap or buggy dialler software.

Are you suggesting we should do some drastic user-agent blocking?

Over half (last I checked, 56%) of AO users use IE.  Sad, but that's what the stats said.  Better than a lot of sites though, where the average IE usage is 9x%.
