Have heard mixed opinions about this software. I currently have a version installed on a windows machine, but have yet to get the Amiga data and programs I am using over to the emulation.

I use my A2000's to create and print documents that include images, and would like to have the emulation as a backup system just in case.

Would anyone care to comment on:

--The simplest way to transfer the data and programs

--The ability of this software to actually print documents

--Any alternatives, and if so, why, instead of this one

Regards,

W

Yes....download WinUAE FOR FREE :)

It's a good collection of legal stuff.

The big benefit to Amiga Forever IMHO is the ease of setup, legal ROMs that you don't have to get from the Amiga to the PC and the file transfer tools if you need to connect to a real Amiga to transfer files.

Rubbish, he is perfectly entitled to use a kickstart rom image AND full set of workbench disk ADFs as supplied with his A2000 AS HE ALREADY OWNS THEM.

This stuff about having to manually transfer your own kickstart/workbench is a lie

I own an Amiga 1000,500,2000,1200,600 and CD32 which means after finding the associated files to download I am legally using

kickstart 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.04, 3.0, 3.1 AND full disk set ADFs of associated workbench.

The resulting files would be the same legally so I cut out all the hard work :roflmao:
