@ weirdami

If there would have been something on that site that were of any
interest to us, then there would have been no need to "fabricate
proof". Besides, it is the simplest thing in the world to edit web
statistics to suit your needs if you want to make a statement
about "user interest" based on that; no need to involve real users.

@ Wayne

If things hasn't improved dramaticly by then (one of the new platforms
taking off for *real* (I am particulary hoping for a specific one;-)))
then it won't matter what names we will se in four years from now
anyway. If the community is dead now, how will it look after some
additional four years without a viable market? In that case, most
discussions here on amiga.org will be about the next president
election in the USA and such non-Amiga related things. That's my guess
anyway. Will amiga.org even still be here in that case?

It's not about hardware people - the latest Pegasos II with its
updated firmware is now flawless IMHO. It's not about the OS and SW
people - it's well supported by OS's and MorphOS is great now
(especially after the bugfixes in 1.4.2) and only becomes better all
the time. No, it's about the "business people". It's their mission,
it's their assignment. The "product pieces" of the puzzle is
there, but now the "business people" has to put them together in
the best possible way, and hopefully in several different ways. Let's
hope they get their act together and pull it off. It can happen. But
anyway, I have some really silent but yet quite powerful hardware
here, perfect for home server usage and such, so I am quite happy
right now! :-)

14 days you say. That sure sounds ... promising!  :-P

Well, maybe it will turn out to be true THIS time, who knows?
