I'm planning to clean up the case of an A1200 I've just dug out the loft with some retrobite and was wondering what the best way to clean the motherboard would be? Can they be washed safely and if so, with what?

Thanks,

Robert

A car wash? But you have to take out the wifi antenna...:roflmao:
Beg you pardon... Isopropyl alcohol, but not much.

A1200, Lateral 32GB CF, internal Dvd, ACA 1230/56 with an MKII Fast ATA at 9,5Mb/s, another A1200 BPPC project in progress (more or less), and posting from my own/better C64x in my Tv using Hdmi.

From what I hear there isn't much sun in Scotland, I bet the Amigas don't turn yellow there from anything but tobacco smoke!

Yeah, I live in the Canary Islands, 99% sun... I got my retrobrightning in 3 hours in november...

Never heard of the "Canary Islands" until we played Where in Europe is Carmen Sandiego last night on the trusty old A1000 :)

Malta is another one of those strange, elusive places - but seems there's an Amiga user or two from there! lol

Yeah, I have found a place in the Amiga map where nobody was....jojojo... and it isn't Mohave desert.

(PS: The Brute Deodorant also makes you Amiga smell lovely, especially when it gets warm...)
