I play FreeCiv now and again, and Battle for Wesnoth. Strategy and/or RPGs have the most long term appeal for me. Apart from that, I occasionally fire up old C64 and Amiga games... And I keep on having phases where I play some puzzle game manically for a few weeks because it's easy to get in 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there, often flash games. Most recently:
