What is the going rate for a Sam 440 Flex 667 MB with 1 Gig ram OS4.1 and a Radeon 9250? I bought it from Amigakit when they first came out and it has been babied ever since. I'm just checking - if I sold it and perhaps another classic system the money would go straight back to Amigakit for a Sam 460. I'll never afford the X1000 so that's out and I already have MorphOS for my mini registered as well as many classic systems.

This would probably be my last OS4 hardware upgrade if it happens.

It's actually a completely built system in an Antec NSK 3480 case (with original shipping box), a sata DVD-RW, and a 160 Gig sata HD right now. I could part it or not depending on buyers wants - needs.  Or you could all talk me out of it but I am really wanting a 460.

I just logged in to Amigakit and I paid $881.45 on May 23, 2009, the case and DVD-RW were purchased locally for about another $120.00. I think I have about $1000.00 in to it.

I have been on here for 8 years or so and several people on Amiga.org can vouch for me as reliable when it comes to buying and selling things.

Thanks,
Jeff

I was gonna say about $600 myself since that is about what I been thinking about spending for an Amiga compatible myself.  Almost tempted to make a firm offer of $600 + shipping but part of me holding back saying for my 1st modern Amiga I should go the newer 460 or I may kick myself for not doing so but the other side says if I can find a real nice complete ready to use older model for about $600 I would do it as my 1st system.

I am too new to Amiga that I really need to buy a ready to go system versus buying a board and making my own since I know very little about OS 4.1 or even AmigaOS in general so an older 440 Flex would probably work for me.
