No-one is bothered about the bigger picture, everyone is wrapped up in thier own agendas, in their own camps, and in thier own hero worshiping to notice anything sensible

I don't think everybody is all wraped up like that. I know it had no intention in stereotyping everybody, but I hope that others will nod agreeingly when I say that we would just like an alternative to what is established computing and we would like to get some business support for this alternative.
Is it too much to ask for, to get an os that is not bogged down by greedy ceo's or total and utter chaos in its development?
Since when did we just had to accept that most commercial code is crap?
