Well, I just bumped up my pledge by 50%. I really hope this gets made.
By the way, you can increase your pledge if you pledged already by going to the site and clicking the blue "manage your pledge" link.
To answer some of the things in the thread here, they are trying to get funding and this is how they've chosen to do it. No one loses any money. You pledge a certain amount of money that you will have to pay ONLY if the project ends up fully funded.
Why don't they just do the interviews online? I imagine it is because they want a consistency in the product and to guarantee that all the interviews are recorded to a level of quality they want in the end product. You cant add quality to video after the fact. you can only reduce it.
