Doom FPS benchmarks
« on: February 13, 2011, 12:00:36 AM »
So post some Frames per second benchmarks of Doom running on your machine, and what hardware the machine is using :)

I'll start it out:

Using Doomattack, with screen size two steps below max.
High detail 10-12 FPS
Low detail 18-20.

They both fluctuated a fair bit of course, but those are pretty average.

This is on my ACA 030/56 from Individual Computers, and plain old AGA.

Low detail gives it a significant boost in speed too.

Start it from shell with -fps should do it, at least in doomattack

I'll try with the blitter option and see if it makes a difference here.
