Not with UAE. The hw emulation is too tightly integrated to be possible to offload to some PCI card.

And it's quite pointless anyway, any 5 year old PC can emulate the chipset faster than some PCI card... :-)

So why are you dreaming about UAE + PCI card merge? PCI card chipset wouldn't make it any more "real thing".

Only if the emulation would be 100% independent of the host, and then there would be no need for UAE in the first place.

If software is involved in any way, there are bound to be differences compared to original.

With todays high frequencies that wouldn't be too easy, and it would also need to support DVI.
