Using downloaded software

when I do so, it shows two floppy icons, DF0?, and AS

DF0:? is normal, it just lets you know that the disk is not readable as amiga one. the 'AS' is the floppy seen thru PC0:.

The one labeled AS contains a drawer enititled Scorched Tanks, which is the name of the program I'm currently trying to take from the PC to the Amiga. However, there is nothing inside the drawer! Am I missing a step somewhere?

Did you select Window - Show - All Files ?

Type lha -x scorched.lha dh1:{name of the drawer you've got for this} and that should unpack the entire thing to the drawer.

That is wrong.

When making instructions to newcomers, at least make sure your instructions are correct. Thank you.

The correct command is:

lha x scorched.lha dh1:foo/bar/bleh[b]/[/b]
...where 'x' means extract, and dh1:foo/bar/bleh is the drawer to extract to. The last / is mandatory.

In fact, everything is just fine until the adf2disk part, because its after that that I get the error and that nothing appears on the floppy.

Many games don't show anything on the disk or even show the disk as NDOS. These games require you boot the system from the floppy directly.
