Yes, I remember. I grew up with a C64. I love SID, but technically, it's an analogue synth, albeit digitally controlled.
I'm not sure I'd agree that it's an analogue synth, because the oscillators, waveforms and envelope generators are digital. While the multiplying D/A's for modulation and FET's for filtering are what make up the analogue side.
