The X-Surf II I got from Compuquick had an install CD that did a fast Samba install for me. One nice thing is it doesn't overwrite your old Miami settings. When you hit the StartEthernet icon, it launches a script that has Miami use a different prefs file. I think they did ths so you could have access to your old config in case things don't work right.

I haven't been able to test this since I don't have another computer on my local network at this time...

I ave about a 2 to 3 week wait for my X-Surf (on back order), does the install disk
have settings for AmiTCP ?

According to the Readme it has installs for AmiTCP Genesis (standalone or with Netconnect 2 or greater) as well as for Miami...

BTW, the Install CD that came with it was an unlabeled burned CD. I don't know if that's how Compuquick bundled it or if Individual Computers was being lazy... It was only holding over 8MB of files too.
