This might be a first :-) but i agree with what your saying about websites but i still believe they should (aswell as other Amiga sites) update their websites.
Why? to let people who are coming back to the Amiga or new users know what is going on, they could even just post a url to the A1 mailing list or something.
Imagine if you knew nothing about the Amiga but you wanted a new Amiga you have heard of so you decide to browse the companies websites but the sites was badly out of date, would you think "I must read web forums and mailing lists"? nope.
