Selling leaky Amigas!?

I don't get it.  People sell stuff that has a know problem but do not fix it while they have the chance.

Here is a A3000 with a leaky battery for sale, even acnowledged by seller:

But ripping it out is better than having it leak all over the motherboard rendering the Amiga inop.

Also I was exadurating.  You can carefully remove it without pliers or a soldering iron.  I did.

True, atleast the buyer knows what he is getting into, BUT it doesn't explain that high starting bid though! ;)
