When I was still using my A3000 and a CSPPC card I tried it both ways and never noticed anything. So my guess was it didnt matter. I've also heard the CSPPC RAM is used first. Also see if you can find 60ns RAM. MAke sure your CSPPC is also setup to use it. Hold the ESC key at bootup and look in to see that the 60nc RAM is selected. Its quite a speed up.
