Those Sony 36"s really seem to weigh 200-220 Lbs, nearly 100 kg - my ex 32" was just about 70 kg...

Just read a test of 40-42" TV sets.
Panasonic plasma did use 370 W max, LCD sets from 90 to 270 W on daylight settings; the smallest figure for evening settings was for a Sony, just 32 W. A huge variation! My old 32" tube did use probably 120 W.
