Where to get SCSI hard drives
« on: January 18, 2009, 07:04:27 PM »
Where's a good place to get reasonably priced 50 pin SCSI hard drives for the Amiga? I have a GVP 040 board with SCSI controller.

I'm in Ohio. I'll take as big as I can get for a reasonable price. I would like at least 4-10 gig.

What do you have?

I'm near Columbus.

I just ordered OS 3.9. Will it work with HD's bigger than 4 gig?

Toss me a number for a drive, and I might be interested. Shipping can't be that bad from Cinci to me.

Holy cow Tenacious! That's a sweet load of Amiga hardware in your sig!

I called the guy in Gahana and he didn't act like he has much left. He has no 50 pin SCSI drives. Looks like a 50-68 pin adapter for me.

If I go IDE, would I be better off with a Budda or a ACard? Would I be able to boot with either of those with my GVP 040 accelerator?

I kinda like the Budda from what I know about it.
