IMPOSSIBLE.  All disks would not go bad.  I have disks the are from 80s and 90s and all read fine on my pc converted drives.   Looks to me like the the new drive from Amigakit, has not been properly converted for use on amiga?  could have also gotten damaged during transport?
ANYWAY, you shold contact AMIGAKIT not post here.   It is their product and I have no intention of supporting it.
And test your disks on several amigas.  It could be that the 8520 chips went bad on your amiga?

All of my drives work flawlessly and are tested against a number of disks in my library.  I have CHINNON drives for sale and PC Conv ones.

Fine.  However, the corrupt disks may seem corrupt because your disk drive may not work properly.  You don't need my permission for anything, this forum is free and I can express my opinion too.  Check those disks in another Chinnon 354 Amiga drive.  Check the disks in another Amiga too.  Mike, the 30% failure seems awfully high.
